queensland Albert River Bass

I heard a whisper that the wild bass in the albert river are schooling and taking lures so I might just go and have a look in my own back yard tomorrow. Biggest reported wild catch is 43cm.

hmmm could be worth a look, doing the fishing guide thing at North Pine at sunrise, but if the tide doesn't look to low in the arvo might launch the boat or take a yak (although not to keen with the yak with the amount of sharks that get pulled out of there:unsure: )

Aaron where I was thinking is above the tide mark past the weir at Wolffdene - your yak would be perfect to explore. THe bush is too thick to get to the the water from land, put there was an excellent launching spot for yaks. Well was last time I had a look.

Sweet weir should mean no sharks, only got six bass this morning at Np dam so still have a bit of fishing left in me today, just gotta get a leave pass.
