G'day Fishers,

G'day Aus Fishers, earlier in the year i moved from Sydney for work and now live in Hope Island on the GC. Always keen to meet like minded folk and head out for a fish, im so impressed with the options up here, so blessed to live in such a wonderful country. ive already made some great fishing friends up here (DinoDog) and always keen to make more. In the few months ive been up here, i have tried to mix the fishing up with bass/yella's, canal bream and jacks, bullsharks, fly fishing for tarpon and longtom, offshore for snapper/tuna/cobia, seaway for jewies/tailor and dying to tick the toga off the bucket list.

Please feel free to drop me a note, i am planning a tweed tailor spinning session early saturday morning if anyone is keen.

Cheers, Stan.

P.s. heres some captures of since my time here and some from Syd:

thanks guys,

that bream was 47cm when i measured it correctly, it fell to a slow rolled 100mm squidgy blood worm wriggler. and that eel, was 1.2m and i would put its weight at anywhere between 15 - 17kg. it ate a hard body i was slow rolling for bream lol. Both caught on 4lb haha.

Have you tried the Hinze for bass yet?

Cheers

Thanks Ray,

I gave the hinze a crack earlier in the year. bloody hell, i found that was a very difficult dam to fish. I went out on my own on the kayak and covered quote a bit of ground on what i think was the eastern arm (nerang murwillumbah rd?). I lost so many lures to the timber you cant see submerged lol. I had a few follows in the shaded area using spinner baits but nothing stuck. Definitely will be going back soon though, beautiful place.

Cheers
