Sorry - not that I know of. When I was on a charter there in Winter time there were truckloads of pots in/near the channel though.

We always got a few. More muddies than sandies down that way.

Yeah.  Got one the other day.  Pots were out for a couple of hours.

Ha ha.  Caught a mud crab on a yabby yesterday at MacLeay Island.  It was walking along the beach in front of me so I kept throwing my line in its face until it was well and truly holding the yabby.  Flicked it out the water and yummy entree.  First time eating mud crab.  Actually think the sand crab tasted better.
