It's nearly here, so I would just like to gauge the interest for a get together of members and any suggestions as to what and where.

What say ye ?

Hi Brian. 

Don't really have many suggestions but..

- Put a cap on an amount of members allowed in total -> For example, post a Microsoft Forms survey or something that will stop being shared once 100 members have registered to attend. 

- Utilise some sort of function room or hireable hall that is somewhat accessible for everybody. 

- Include some fun prizes or giveaways

I'd be keen - I thought Shorncliffe was good last time so maybe somewhere around the bay again.

For the Brisbane members, I had the thought of a meet up at Port of Brisbane on a Saturday or Sunday then fish either the river or bay dependent on choice/weather. Beforehand we could try to organise boaties with deckies. Come back to the ramp for a simple barbeque and chat/skite  around 2pm.

November tides seem favourable for the weekends.

We'd need a decent number to attend to make it worthwhile. Numbers were pretty skinny last year.

That sounds real fun Brian I'd be keen to come along especially with Hamish. Hopefully we can get a decent amount of peeps to come!

why would it need to be a mini bar?  why limit yourself so?  how about a full size bar instead?  it would be like @ellicat buying a fun size cherry ripe - it's just silly.

Perhaps another option could be do a catch up on Sunday 15th January which is the last day of the Suburbs of Origin comp. Although I guess the only problem might be that the Northsider's don't want to put up with our gloating ...... .
