Hey lads,

been thinkin latley about selling the boat and grabbin a yak probably pro fish 45 after seeing them at the BRC. anyways struggling to make my mind up, so lets hear your pros and cons and see if i can be converted to the yak side! also anyone know how much the profish is and brian it doesnt cost a 12kilo threadie!

I'd keep the boat mate, More options for Bay fishing and get you their quicker lol.

I think the Profish 45 is around 1700 + + + All the extras

I would keep the boat for now, but if you can save up the money, a kayak would be good to have in the garage for paddling up creeks and around dams. A boat will (generally) be drier, faster, safer and easier to use depending where you use it.

I personally would love to have a kayak, but I don't have the money so maybe in a couple of years I will:)

I always catch more fish in the Kayak than the tinny but a boat is more comfortable for longer trips

Just set yourself up like me. Have the tinny, a Scanoe, a canadian canoe and a kayak under the house. And, as I do tell the missus, yes, I do need them all.

Profish will be less than 1700 with the goodies (seats, rod holders, paddle etc). Price yet to be 100% fixed but i can say that.

I worked on mine in the workshop today for about 2 hours. It looks hot. Stay tuned for photo's of me holding some great fish in it at Straddy!
