Boat ramp near Brisbane River mouth

I have read about a boat ramp in Boggy creek in a post but have not been able to find any particular details about it. I know about the Pinkenba one in Kirra street but don't think this is the one mentioned as it goes into the Brisbane river. Is the Boggy Creek one off Priors road? Is there anything I should know about this ramp such as its condition, whether it is a public ramp or not?

G'day Joe, I'm not sure about the ramp you're talking about. But there's a good ramp at Fishermans Isle that is very close to the mouth.

There's a map at the bottom this thead (it's circled) of where there's a boat ramp. I believe that's the pinkenba one that you're talking about and looking at the map it might also be the one Chubbstar is talking about too.

I think there is one at the mouth of Boggy creek and I think it's pretty easy to find. I saw it one day when I was exploring. Looks like at high tide there's not much of a ramp there at all.

The one Chubbstar is talking about is between Fisherman's Island and the mainland (boat passage), on the southern side of the bridge connecting the two sections of land.

I've never heard of the Boggy Ck one:S Might have to check it out

the boat ramp in boggy creek is verry rocky i find if you dont have 4x4 it is no good there are is another boat ramp on that side of town that is heeps better and it is not to far up the river

yer there is a boat ramp into boggy creek but it is just rocks not actully a proper road. iv only eva seen ppl launch tinnys form there im not sure if u could launch anything bigger, and parking is a real bugger. i think ur best bet is pinkenba boat ramp and just drive the boat around.

Thats just the info I was looking for. Doesn't sound too good for me but will probably have to go and have a look.
