I have sent my local council an email suggesting it would be a good idea if they did the same!

Went along Rickets Rd at Ransome yesterdsy for the first time for years and see that they have built a concrete ramp beside the road bridge where it crosses Tingalpa Creek.

Also built a couple of nice looking fishing platforms attached to a new bikeway bridge over the creek. In my opinion the only good use for a bikeway. Are there any fishing platforms attached to any other bikeways? or is that a first.

Got them on the Bribie Island bridge! But they are actually supposed to be for push bike riders to wait and allow pedestrians to pass, because some boofhead in DMR designed the pedestrian / bike path narrower than minimum standards!

Having been for a few rides with Mitch over the school holidays, I think they are really just well planned "good parent exhaustion stops". And quite necessary too I might add:P
