Lenthalls now 60hp

Just read in qld fishing monthly that 4 stroke and di2 strokes up to 60 hp are allowed on lake lenthall . These changes came into efect on the 1/12/07 . speed limit is still 6 knots and 1hp to 6hp carby 2strokes will be allowed untill 2010. Still no good to me, but Iam sure my 3 star OEDA rated 115 puts out less emmissions than alot of the old dunger 2 strokes getting around:dry: ( no offence ment to anyone with an old dunger 2 banger):laugh:

Was a post on this earlier. I think that it is a good thing that they recognise the OEDA standard as it sets a precedent maybe Wivenhoe ( I wish}and others will follow.

What they reckon is that a 60hp 4s or di2s produce less than 50%emmissions than a 6hp carbed 2stroke so by that theory a 115 puts out less crap than motors that are still allowed

Ando 200? what you got a honking great ski boat?, speed limit is still 4 knots due to all the timber, so probably kill those big motors!.

It will be interesting to see how those new fangled 2 strokes go idling all day as it is!

It would be nice if they let people pull the props of their big donks, and run a little auxillary or electric only.
