Went out to Moogerah to test my new electric,The water was brown as and I did not get a touch in 3hours,guess the fish have not recoverd from the earlier kill.

The elictric did not go so well wasn't even fast enough to wobble a lure.

It's a 54lb Watersnake pushing a 12' tinnie I thought it would do it easy.

If anyone has any clues I would be happy to here what you think.

Something wrong there malcom, I have the same watersnake and it pushes my 16 foot tinnie easily at 4 to 4.5kph, even into a good headwind. Generally 3 is the optimum speed for trolling with mine. You didn't connect the battery in reverse, meaning you were using reverse to go forwards?

No I was going foward ok just very slow it may be the battery as it is an old one,I'll try another battery
