clip or no clip?

hey fellas just wondering do you use fast clip on hard bodies? i used to tied a swing knot tended to give it a more natural presentation but lately i use the clip as connection, i've watched it closely and try to feel the different but they seem the same,just thinking will the sound made from the clip and the lure eye crunching affect the fishing?

great question mate i also would like to know if they have had a drop in sucess using these as it can be a pain retying lures when your changing a bit trying to find what works.

Loop knot for me. My fat fingers have trouble with small snaps. I don't think the fish care either way.

Yeah i find loops knots so fast and easy I have never experemented with snap swivels etc.

I reckon it could be an issue though in those super finniky situation.

If you wanna cheat use Hawaiian Snaps.

If you've got good eyes tie a perfection loop.

Don't think it matters a lot on HB's except maybe poppers.(??)

Only ever used poppers once (in the HPSS pool last year).

I only ever use a lefties loop knot or perfection loop. I believe the more finicky fish like bream it does make a difference.

Like Jeff I did use the Rapala Knot but now clips are the only way to go!

The lefties knot seems to be about the same as the rapala knot. The rapala knot just takes the tag through the loop it created when putting it through the single-knot loop.

sampos hawians crosslocks and corkscrews hate them all

only time i use them now is for attaching bottom bashing rigs or herring jigs to braid mainline
