EFC/Nicks rod

This is a 12-20lb loomis IMX for chassing Tuna and big nobbies from his yak

Custom Matagi Grip with purple accents and Purple/Green Camelian reel seat

ok here is an update on the rods

Al/Biggles is finished and came up nice, did it in red and black to match the reel seat and EVA grips

Cando/Noels DSR820 loomis 4-8lb has a custom matagai split grip, bindings are being done in olive green to match the blank with a splash of gold near the butt, doing the epoxy tonight so should be finished soon

Dinos is finished, bindings done in a very dark purple looks sweat, no pics at the moment will get some tommorow in better light

EFC/Nicks 12-20lb Tuna stick, started on it tonight he is having his done with some really nice Penrith panthers colours

This question is for the Pro rod builders can you purchase rod kits from an Australian stores ive only seen kits available in USA,on www.mudhole.com, Im thinking to get a cheap kit and testing how our go, and if I stuff it up its nothing to cry about and than go to more expensive ones when Im more confident. Lee must say you do impressive work. Ahh do you actually use one of those rod building machines to put the thread on?

Finally got around to finishing the binding on EFC/Nicks rod

the binding turned out tops, managed to get both new and old Penrith colours in there for him with purple underbinding,black overbinding with the penrtih stripes
