Haha:D, hopefully not. They're only U/15, so they might be a bit smaller than us (U/16)

Just realised then that I havn't seen any reports of Snapper caught in the river yet... Maybe that's just because no body wants to give away anything before the comp:D Hopefully we'll see some good fish caught in this comp:)

I know Live_2_fish has got some nice squirey snapper along the wharfs not to long ago, up to about 60cm. And i got a 33cm squire landbased on a peice of squid =P. I think 50oddcm for squire and midd thirtys for bream will win it, but hopefully theres a few snodgers captured =D

in the words of the castle - tell him he's dreaming. some of the NZ boys we used to play against in league were 14/15, we were all 16/17 and we got smashed. a few of the still went 120kg+. i think they ate whole live lambs for breakfast of something. :silly: good luck mate, hope you come out of it better than fishyman came out of trying to tackle a few tonnes of sand.:P

You only need to know two things when playing bigger tougher players.

Throat.

Nose.

Done Mal.

Everyone: I will tinker with the map tonight as i want to include a few of the beacons in the boundaries. So basically it will just be extended a bit out through the shipping channel. NOT as far as Mud though.

faulked: Mate ill be there a bit before 5:00am.

I will be on the water at about 5:30am depending who I end up boating with.

Ill leave some spare spots on teh spread sheet if anyone wants to bring a mate and register them on the day.

Obviously one will need to be registered in order to weigh in.

Cheers.

Cheers mate.

Very pumped for this sunday hey. Looks like we have a fantastic turn out.

Had a long chat to a couple of guys I know (computer illiterate though) today and got some good scoops.

Apparantly the front wall is fishing Ok. But wharves from no 6 back have been fishing awesome. If you can stay you 30 meters out and cast into about the 2nd pilon lets the plastic sink before you retrieve. This tactic has been accounting for some good squire up to 60cm, and in good numbers lately.

Apparantly the pipline around boggy creek and the beacons in the shipping channel have also been producing some decent squire with lumps on their heads.

Same mates also pulled on a 3 inch GULP shrimp a 38cm fork bream from the front rock wall! Would love to see a fish like that weighed in Sunday.

Good luck everyone!

I just realised I haven't organised a deckie spot on a boat either. Anyone got some space left ? I'm sure if I hang around in the day looking pathetic somebody will offer me.

Alternatively if there's a couple of other kayaker's I'll go out in the kayak instead.
