Headed down to NPD today in search of a few pests with my friend Madi (Steely). Didn't take long!!! After about 5 seconds it was a quadruple hookup :woohoo: Ended up with 68 tilapia, 1 spangly, and 1 gar which was caught while my bait-less hook was sitting in the water while I was worming up my mum's hook. Great fun and they didn't stop biting until we ran out of worms!!

Madi's first tilapia ever on his new rod!! Great way to blood the rod!

A good days fishing and no forkies.

I see you had your wet weather gear on how was the wind?

I am thinking of going either to NPD or Hinze on thursday. Its getting to that busy time of year having to smoke chooks on Friday and the hams next week.

Just reading that made my mouth water, I remember those from last year ray the smell was just terrific

Just remembered that Madi spotted a wild deer having a drink at the bank. Only looked around and saw it because it made a screaming sound.

Take your crossbow next time and get rid of even more vermin! and you are allowed to eat those ones... mmmm... roast bambi...

Looks like a fun day on the water there mate, doesn't matter what you catch, beats catching nothing!

The Smell in the garage was getting pretty bad from the tilapia that had been in the tinny so I decided I might as well give it a wash, so I lifted up the carpet and to my surprise there was a stiff smelly tilapia looking up at me

As you can see juicy blood was coming out of it
