Mt Tamborine

hey guys,

are there any good fishing spots close to mount tamborine?

will be having a short camp over there and was wondering if there were any places nearby...

i know hinze is within driving distance... but does anyone know any good landbased spots for hinze?

google the area and you might be able to have a flick in canungra creek or the coomera, bit hard this time of year though and its out of season.

Why not the fishing park on the beenleigh- tamborine road.Angus and the boys checked it out a while back and had a good time. Used to be called Glasseys but cant remember what its called now.

Eco Park is the place. $50 to get in... if you do go, buy a bunch of size 12 hooks. Tiny gar fish sized ones and use the burley as bait... they're a lot less shy of eating your offering then.

Yeah we have a bunch of mosquito hooks at work that would be ideal Wally.

Its a good spot.

Also I would reccomend catching a small Spangled Perch and chucking it in the Sooty pond

chardon bridge rd just before the little school,few spots there if you go right of the bridge and walk down the creek a bit you will come to a big tree thet has fallen over the creek i have caught 8 big carp there about 500 in size it was a great day fishin that day.brad
