resolved 213 points - Is that enough to get a toaster?

On perusing my profile page I notice that I have 213 points.

This has undoubtedly been addressed in some earlier thread and I am inadvertently angering someone or other by bringing it up again but...

Can I redeem these points for a toaster or some tackle? What does it all mean?

Our online shop is finally near completion. In the future once we work out the best way to do things, points may be redeemable in the shop for discounts.

This is one of many new intiatives we are working on.

Points are rewarded for activities (eg uploading photos and videos, joining groups, making friends etc) They have been accumulating for a few years now and at present they are only a guide to show how interactive that user has been.

However, they will soon be able to be used for things... you will have to stay tuned though....

I hope you take the avatar and Status changes from the point-earners :blush: Even the "Thankyou" function is well open to abuse without real interactive behaviour. It may be karma wars all over again.
