They needed to do something to curb visitor numbers, but those vehicle exclusion zones are reallllllllly annoying. Adds an extra 30mins to trips up the inside of the island.

Well i wouldnt go that far boys! The main problem doesnt sit with the majority of visiters like us, its the ones with no regards to the enviroment around them that continuously ruin it for the rest of us!

Like when you see campers leave from their spots and leave crap everywhere like broken bottles. Some of these people it seems, think that when your put bottles and cans into the fire, they magically dissapear!

Rangers are pretty good at \"preserving the experience\" for the average punter, you should have seen what we had to do on fraser 15 years ago when they wanted roads that people would not get bogged in, but still gave them them the \"4wd experience\". We actually built all the roads then covered them in half a metre of sand so the tourists still think they can drive on sand! All because thats what the rangers wanted.
