Bit of a weird day there.

Started casting at about 11:30pm but it was way too windy at the spot I picked, so I headed down to Forgan Cove instead. Once there I walked the banks for about three hours, stopping at all the usual spots, but I couldn't get anything.

Later in the afternoon I headed back to the first spot as the wind had died down and ended up with three bass.

One of the bass was the biggest I've yet caught...really happy to get it. I stuffed the measurement of it a bit though...tip of the mouth is forward too far. I think it would have been about 51cm ( to the fork) if I had measured it properly.

Thanks. Felt a bit sorry for the fish though...

In the picture, the non-visible hook is really embedded in the underside of the mouth - around the sensitive areas. It took me about 6 or 7 minutes to get the hook out. I hope he isn't found washed up anywhere...
