Well the wind held off on friday and made for a top day over on nth stardie i got there with my deckie Kev on high tide at 10am to find Jeremy already there. We unpacked the boat and next thing i could see Mick and Rob in both their boats pulling up then we sorted out where to set up camp taking into account the forecast wind.

By the end of the day we had 18 suspects making camp for the night with more to show up on saturday for the big feed planned. Ted brought over 3 kegs of beer so we set up blakesleys bar

The boats were lined up on the beach like we owned the place and we did as no one else came over there for the weekend except for the afo crew

The night was full of laughs and you never wanted to leave i got very wasted but someone had the lead by example and i had many followers in the end most of us called stumps at 3am.

The next day the crab pots were checked and some silly buggers went fishing then a few more boats rolled up bringing the Wanderers crew to 25 suspects and 12 boats. With lunch time had the beach was set for some cricket with drinks in hand there were plenty more laughs with yanks that don't no how to bowl and poms thinking they are playing in a ashes test. Splat ould only peg not bowl

Thanks everyone for a good weekend, we must have burned a ton of wood and I recon you would have seen the fire from viccy point late Saturday night, some very very ordinary conditions on the way home with 30 kt winds and 1.5m swells. Got some good crab to make up for the lack of fishing.

What a cracking weekend! Thanks all round for the ride, offers of rides, fun, food, Pav B) fisho tips, the top advice of "No Kevvy, you are too pussy to play The Amazing Mick Fillet's Amazing Mud Crab Roulette, you have had too much Keg Beer on top of yer Beam&Coke" and the general social atmosphere........A fish is a bonus, eh?

Great to meet new faces, see some old faces, and generally run amok for a few days. Australia Rocks, and the Wanderers are Legendary! Photos later, but no mental ones unfortunately :(

Was a great weekend next time im packing lighter though it was an interesting drive over to the camp with a lot of firewood weighing me down.

A couple pictures, most of my other ones are similar to what has already been posted.

Yeh was a great weekend, good to catch up with a everyone for a good yarn round a seriously hot campfire.

Thanks has to go to Ted for being such a great skipper and showing us that the walrus vessel can handle some seriously ordinary conditions!!

Was also great to get out for a fish with lance, perhaps next time he won't have his whiting rig on all weekend none the less I think he outfished us all 5-1.

Thanks also to mick and Eddie for what was an awesome feed,, I'm still alive and so you'll have to double the dose next time Eddie :silly:

Look forward to some friendlier conditions next time

Callum
