Metal Heads

Recommended Posts

How many guys do we have on the site that listen to metal in one form or another? Whether thats metal, industrial, metalcore, death metal, heavy metal black metal etc...

I just started listening to some Mnemic, one song I really like is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbO7iqpMZ64

Mnemic - Deathbox

It's a song from their second album, The Audio Injected Soul. They classed the genre as: "Future Fusion Metal"

So yeah. How many guys do we have that listen to some metal?

I've been listening to a cd my mate made for me with a range of different genres including: Six feet under, sepultura, protest the hero, mnemic, killwhitneydead, in flames, from autumn to ashes, decide, converge, chevelle, caliban, necro (I advise people not to listen to this... Lee will know why:P) and opeth.

I wouldn't have called Chevelle "metal", but I like them all the same.

ps - they must be the only band on this page that I have even heard of lol

IT dosent take much talent to yell and scream lke a banshee with a guitar in your hand.

Your right, the talent comes into it when you actually play the guitar rather than just hold it.

I urge everyone to check out meshuggah if you havent already.

Parkway Drive is a "metalcore" which some metal heads dont consider metal... but meh

Will: Certainly not metal mate:P hilltop hoods, RHCP??? :P

I'd like to keep this to "METAL" and not other stuff, and preferably without that modern day emo naming crap:P

Another good australian band is Daysend, wikipedia lists them as metalcore/melodic death metal

Ha yes Jordan as you have worked out I listen to a lot of triple j. I'm not a big fan of anything to do with australian idol or music like that. Love vitriol as well!

If you guys are metal heads, who was playing at the riverstage last night? I was rock climbing at kangaroo point and there was some serious screaming coming from the riverstage? Wasn't my kind of music but I wanted to know who it was.
