Just wondering, after the huge success of the last event. Possibly a BBq.

Or, as we getting more interest in the fresh water side of things, maybe a frsh water comp?

What do you think?

Mate in the new year sometime i am going to try and rally a few troops up the North Pine dam for a BBQ, freswater day maybe with a small informal comp going as well.

A gathering would be good - self catered for might be best. maybe just call it a fishing day.

As to the \"comp\" - we are mainly blokes so the contest starts there. It'll happen naturally.

In my opinion we don't need anything formal.

Just thought maybe a small comp with possibly some AFO gear like shirts and hats est as prize maybe?

If we can get decent numbers and if we all pay a small entry fee.....

The guy who played the pipes at my wedding was good.

He's in Paddington or west end wrong memory, also got my kilts in family colours from there too.

Yeah Ash that would be Highland House and the pipers name is Roddy Campbell. Denise Campbell and her family own the store. Very nice people.

Though being of clan MacDonald its a shame they Campbells!

But yeah Roddy actually piped both my 18th and 21st birthdays and will be booked again for the wedding. Cheers.

cressbrook is between toowoomba and crows nest quickest access via esk been there but never fished it.
