Camerons Rocks 31-01-07

Well as i cant get a fish in this weekend, i decided to vent a little at Camerons rocks this afternoon.

With me were Troy and Ando.

When i first rocked up Troy was already 2 cod in.

Not long after he hooked a nice legal bream.

I was trying a new lure (CK40) so my confidence was not right up there. But before to long i was onto something quite decent. Turned out to be a nice 50cm Flathead.

Soon after i got a little bream, but jeez it smacked the lure hard.

It was nearly dark by this stage so called it quits.

Not a bad little session for only one hour.

Good fishing!

Picture: The infamous SX40. First time i used this lure i caught a Pike, Bream and Flathead all within about 20mins. Needless to say i was convinced. Dont have a massive casting range as they are light, however most bream cod etc in the Brisbane River are close in arounf structure so this poses no problem. Picture: These are the larger brothers to the SX40 the SX48. I dont have any of these but i reckon Bassin from a yak with them would be gold. I might get a couple for Lenthalls and ill let you know how they go. I dont have pictures but there are Also SX60's which i also think would be pretty gun.

Hope this helped. [img size=200]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/SX48.jpg

Brian they look good but they look better in the water.

Awesome movement.

I presently just get mine from Jone's.

I have been looking for a cheaper online option though as these are one sort of lure i would certainly not mind having a fair few of.
