queensland Trinity Inlet Wrecks

Hi everyone,

Now that I have been fishing Trinity Inlet a lot lately, I would like to fish better locations. I know there are submerged wrecks in the Inlet but don't know the locations. Are there any people would be willing to tell me about them? I would also like to know where the old submarine boom is as well. I have done bait fishing and lure fishing with not to much to show for it. Have had a few follows from jacks etc. when flicking and some fish bait fishing. Thanks

Maybe @tiotony may know this, but I don't have a clue. You would probably have some luck asking around with all the local stores and fisherman though.

The best spot is the one you can find yourself (well normally as that becomes your spot X)

I am like Hamish, don't have a clue.  Have you tried asking the local diving charters, if any?  Or watching for them while you are on the water.  Just a thought as we were going to fish a wreck last week and couldn't because there was a dive charter there.

They won't be diving it though. Trinity Inlet is croc country. I am going to talk to some people I know about their location.

I used to drive barra charters in there 3 years.

I can point u rite direction.

Fishing is hell tuff in there. Each spot has a specific best bait / and rig to suit on a specific tides
