Nice work Brian and others. Good to see a couple of jewies getting around, there seems to be a few around at the Port at the moment.

Nice haul of whiting!!   Yep, hearing some great reports of jewies and solid squire from the port in the last week or two, if only work and weekend sport wasn't so darn busy ........

It's been a fishing drought for @Kat and myself. Looking at a session tomorrow afternoon/ evening down the coast after dropping the kids back. Hopefully you left some whiting down there for us

Coombabah.... Was very quiet last night. We quit by 8pm. Couldn't get good worms. No difference between the worms we had and yabbies. They all caught stingrays...

Don't know if it applies to The Coombabah, but nighttime outgoing/daytime incoming applies to the Nerang. That's according to whiting Guru @youngy.

I think Doug burt runs by a concurrent general rule also for whiting. Rarely are we able to sneak a trip in and choose our preferred parameters, but that's life at the moment.

We had another gent senior to us on board and the entertainment value of the trip overall was great. Maybe we were laughing too hard and loud at the boating shenanigans of coombabah Creek? Maybe it was crappy tides etc, but we laughed a lot so all is good

Sorry for being late to the post, Brian. I haven't had much time to catch up with the forum recently. Looks like a good few sessions. That feed of whiting must've been delicious. Good work on the little jewie in the river, too.
