Na I disagree.

Good collection Twinky.

Its like cars or anything... Any more than one can be pointless... But if you are an enthusiast your an enthusiast! Even though I would only take two or three at a time, I would love to have that selection to choose from!

If you can't find the Precision Pak's in BCF then give Wilson fishing a call, or drop into the Wilson warehouse at 63 Proprietry St Tingalpa. They are an importer.

check 'em out at Precision Pak "Yak Pak"

They are an awesome bit of kit. Had mine for over a year and still going strong. It is amazing how much gear you can fit in them if you need too. They would get in the way of a live well though...

I also bought one of those yakpaks

did you screw in the rod holders or leave them as is?

btw, did you yakpaks come with the "black ice" cooler bags?

the label on it says they come with it, so does the wilson fishing website

No, I didn't screw the rod holders in. Mine only came with two rod holders, so I had to fashion my own third one. It didn't come with a cooler pack either.

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread and there's been a few things I've bought but have been too lazy to take a picture of... but here's the latest additions to my slowly growing collection.

RCS 2500 (so shiny) to go onto my 2508 exist. I'm sick of casting a slug and getting down to the knot on the spool.

Yumeya knob for my stradic 2500. I've been neglecting this reel all because the knob on it has gone all yuck.

and a big ass saltiga dorado slider to add to the arsenal for our reef trip in a few weeks.

Finally received my duffrod x842 last week  and I have to say I am quite pleased.

Great rod with a really slow taper but still nice and 'crisssssp'. Throws small hardbodies and unweighted jigheads very nicely. Loads up well too. My only gripe would be that it feels slightly heavy in the hand than I had expected, but I guess I am just used to the Nordic rods!

If you ever find yourself in two minds about getting one of Steves rods, don't hesitate because you won't be dissapointed.

cheers!

some porn...

A bit of snag jewellery to last the first month of the bass season! Also picked up one of the highloader bags for our next wading or bush bashing bassing trip, getting keen!

Ah very nice B) you bringing the highloader Sunday?

Love the Yemeya knob. Can I ask what it set you back? After being totally in love with the Carbon Fibre knob Fish Head did for me on my Stella 1000 I will be upgrading the Stella 2500 as well. Just working out with what!

Love that spool as well. I am sure that give you a lot more use on our bay missions let along rock missions...

Mmmmm Dobyns Savvy matched to a Shimano Chronarch 51e

Hey mate,

Size wise, is the 51e noticeably smaller than the 201e?

Not a huge amount of difference but the 51 definitely fits more snugly in the hand.

Cheers for that. If its relatively similar I still may lean towards the 201e5. Still deciding on whether the ratio difference will play that much of a factor given my intended use for it. Looking to pair it with a custom Samurai 251.
