whiting my son caught

Hi my name is leo, im a new member on line and would like to share this picture of my son alexander with the biggest whiting i have ever seen caught. it was caught on beach worm last summer at tweedheads nsw, it was 42 cm long , he is 12 years old now, and i still here about it today, hope you like the pic leo.a

Looks like you may not have attached the picture. They have to be less than 500 pixles (very easy to resize).

Keen to see it though, 42cm whiting is a stonker! Well done to the little fella.

Down in SA they catch massive whiting even bigger than that reguarly, but they're King George a different species to what we get up here.

yeh I dont think people realise how common whiting over 40 cm and even near 50cm are unless you know how and where to target them. In pummicestone the places I fish the fish average over 30cm and your quit unlucky if you cant get a 40cm model every trip.
