2012 Brisbane River Classic - Bragging Time

Hey ladies and gents,

I have received some images of the event, but many are the mandatory brag mat style shots not awesome for article use. Please, if you have any post your angler and fish, or just fishing shots from the event here.

These will be used for the following:

* Official AFO Article.

* Possible Bush & Beach article.

* For use on Bris 31's fishing show "Fishing The Dream".

Any and all images will be welcomed particularly some more shots of the place getting fish.

We were heading back to the ramp Saturday and I decided to try one last drop over at the first Green Buoy where that nice ledge is and BAM! My deckie had a big hit too but missed the hookup.

I found it a hard days fish but still had a good time.

A few boats down around the Poo Shute and Pipeline area Saturday morning.

The Poo shute was the place to be to say g'day to people as they came to castnet their livies.

Friday night saw the Force stuck and having to wait out the tide before the obstruction was discovered. A nice bit of thick cable coiled up. Gotta love the river lol

Pretty positive it's a bandicoot. There are way more in the suburbs than people realise as they are cagier than the dumb ass brush tails. They are also notorious tick carriers.

Cheers for that. I knew it wasn't a bilby, mentioned and dismissed bandicoot (as it wasn't banded), so settled on quoll, because if you can't ID something that is obviously Australian marsupial it is always a quoll. :silly:

I know this is not a serious discussion about native flauna, but I reckon possum. Here is a picture of a bandicoot taken at Fraser Island recently.

That's it Steve. Definitely a bandicoot. The phone camera is not the best at night time on a moving animal. Certainly wasn't a possum (I've seen way too many of them).

It was being fed chicken by Jason and hung around for a while.

i was under the gateway when it came passed and holly hell it was louder then us talking in my boat!!!
