Thinking of fishing in this competition as that's my weekend free. Any indication of prizes yet as it's only 10 days away?

Prizes are very small and token. Not the focus of the weekend by any means.

There is a lucky door prize pack from Fish Head on offer.

Some soft plastics packs from Damiki as placings.

Maybe some other stuff before the event.

I was speaking to Steve Wilkes this ,morning and unfortunately we will not be able to camp next to the boat ramp. Council have given their tentative approval to rezone the area but fortunately SEQ water will not give approval until the council approval process is complete. This could take a while as council only meets monthly.

This means we either camp up near the hall and amenities block or on the grass near the entrance gate.

If we camp near the gate its a bit of a walk to where we moor the boats ( That is if SEQ water allow us to still moor the boats overnight as they have stopped it on other dams) I have emailed camp lakefire and will notify results.

I'll be up there round 10am Friday and planning on camping up top cos I've got three girls with me and they like to be near showers etc.
