Prawns in brisbane

Hi everyone, just started prawning late in the season last year in northside spots around brisbane - cabbage tree creek, nudgee beach, boggy creek, north pine river. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if they're coming by any since Christmas? Have headed out a few times in Dec and Jan and I've not come by any. Hitting up the usual spots at high tide in the AM as well.  Is this normal? I thought they came on in Dec and Jan??
Cheers
Ben

Or better still, make a list of friends who can competently throw the net while I skilfully manoeuvre the tinnie around the other 50 hopefuls.

Options perhaps 👍 We need a couple of options for an extra driver/ sounder interpreter for @Kat's boat. We have one potential but he's a very busy man at times.

I did notice some decent sized banana prawns on the surface in 10m of water at the bulk commodities wharf at Pinkenba around the 7th january....tailor were smashing them. None showing on the sounder though.

Really struggling to find consistant good live bait areas in the Bris River  down towards the wharves lately.

Where do they get prawns around colmslie??  Ive checked that area 10 times in the past month without finding one. Supposed to be nearly year round there.
