Can someone please educate me as to what it means.

Is it an "in" joke thing between certain members?

or someone just having a go at someone else

or someone with nothing to do having a stir

or am I just a grumpy old codger?

I was refering to comments within the thread that made the thread

..a little "off topic", hence "bogus" meaning obsolete or irelevant topics

falling into the conversation and making the thread uninteresting or sometimes even offensive.

Dave that is a bit of brilliant innovating thinking to use your boat to hold up the star pickets that hold up the fence but dont you think you should fill the boat with empty stubbies so the boat wont blow away. :laugh:

Sorry I didn't see that. Now I get it all more innovation than what I gave Dave credit for.

The prevailing wind obviously blows over the fence and then applies down-force to the umbrella which holds the boat in position to prevent the fence stabilizers from moving an

and the hills hoist prevents the umbrella from blowing away if the wind changes direction.

Brilliant application of lateral thinking and applied physics.

Maybe his wife thought of it. :blush:
