camping the mbc

ive taken the friday and monday of the mbc weekend off work and newy and rachael and i are going to camp on one of the islands for the duration.

havent picked a spot yet but will probably be down the pin way,or maybee wave break, so we can fish the flathead social on the sunday at southport.

anyone else going to camp for the weekend ?

I'll probably be in for that Jeff, be good to catch up for a drink or two with you guys, I'd be keen for wavebreak or Curridgee. Gotta work Friday and Monday though so I'll only be able to set up early Saturday morning and leave Sunday arvo

Bumping this, I am in and might take the friday off if the weather looks the goods. Will probably be my last decent fishing weekend till i get back from canada.

Potentially deckie spots open for saturday arvo-sunday arvo etc will confirm later if mates arent interested.

Who else is camping on Wavebreak for the MBC/Flathead Social.

We will also be there from Friday morning to Sunday arvo.

Wavebreak is a good central spot for all species in the MBC

I'll be there early saturday morning Jeff and just staying Saturday night. I'm bringing my son as my deckie/fishing partner and entering him in the MBC and flattie social. Should be an awesome weekend! :woohoo:

I'll be campin on wavebreak island gettin there around lunch on saturday can i suggest setting up camp on the northern beach towards the southport end where the big cleared area is as there are no big thorns like up towards the seaway end they are big goat head thorns that are nasty as on bare feet
