was reading the first post last night and seen the effort to make this event more affordable this year .very nice guys i have wanted to go to winter camp for 3 years but $ have been a issue .i could afford to go this year ,but i have been sick last 2 weeks and Jessy just had 5 baby's so sitting it out this year .hope its similar next year.

Is there a kiosk/shop that sells soft-drinks, snacks, ice etc?

from the website:

"A small on-site shop supplies espresso coffee, ice, ice-creams, snacks, drinks, bait and fishing tackle etc"

I'm not sure if they sell ice. you could get some at boonah on the way or use the communal fridge.

what a weekend,everyone caught fish, i caught 45 bass saturday and another dozen or so this morning

feeling very secondhand and in need of sleep now

Yep we're shagged, came home with some cool new fishing gear and made some new mates Awesome weekend that will take some beating and certainly newy is one of the funniest blokes I've met in a while, still chuckling about the hanky story :silly: :silly:

Lost keel roller on trailer.

Caught fish.

Got some very good buys from Zimman.

Enjoyed myself.

Teds porter was a hit ( Can understand why others played up}

We can't wait for this years winter camp! Hope it's at camp lakefire again too!! And I think it's going to be tradition for Ted to do another porter, still one of the best beers I've ever tried!!
