Just a quick apology and correction.

3rd place was avtually one by Benno!! With a bag weighing 2.6kg.

I read the stats when i got home wrong sorry.

Bretts commendable effort put him in 4th place.

I have edited the original posts to reflect this and avoid confusion.

Angus

Well done gents. Sounds like a great day, and jeez those are undersized aren't they? :) A little disappointed that this trip conflicted with a work conference for me so I wasn't able to make it. I couldn't pass up a trip to Frazer.

Next time though... I'm on. Maybe we could let in the nets for the next trip?? I'm sure you could get 140 odd per cast or drag.

kevinchen: As far as I'm aware it's opened to landbased fishing. The only restriction at the moment is that there is no boat access at this stage.

Kev/Terry,

Yes, it's open for fishing - Mick Hanfling Park and there is that little park along Dayboro fronting the water pump.

Btw, I went up there again today during those unplanned thingies. Caught countless turtles and a little catfish. I used bigger hooks than cull day. :)
