well after looking and shopping around for a while now i finally bit the bullet and got my new yak... a hobie outback mirage s.u.v

picked it up this arvo and im wishing this wind would bugger off so i can go get some fish! great yak dude, they go well in the rivers and lakes and even handle a bit of the rough stuff youl love it

$2000 for something you have to propel by yourself... thats insane! But then again, I did pay nearly that for something a kettle and a jar of International Roast can make too.

But I am dying to try one of those yaks that have the flippers underneath. They look so effortless, so I think with a little bit of extra effort you might get them up on the plane.

Good choice of Yak, and I am sure you will love it. I have had a Hobie Sport for a year and a bit and I am very happy with peddle power.
