queensland Finally got me a TOGA

Will (basskid) sent me a Pm this morning asking If I wanted to head out to Ewen Maddock for a late arvo crack at some bass and hopefully a Toga, hell yeh i said. so we met at the launch spot at around 3pm. I chucked on a purple Auspin spinnerbait and Will had a TN70 on. we started by working the weed beds on the left hand side of the main basin but not so much as a touch :angry: I worked my way around to the bank straight across from the launch site and after a couple of casts Bamm I got nailed on the drop and boy did this thing have some toe :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: . it was screaming Line off the little pixy loaded with 4lb . only took a few seconds and I knew it was a Toga as it leaped clean out of the air several times before diving and taking more line again. by this time I had called Will over and we both new it was a good fish. after a couple more jumps and one more run I got him along side the yak and got the lip gripers in him ;) . What an Awesome looking fish

We fished for another good hour but couldnt raise a scale, it doesnt really matter thouh when u get a fish like that :woohoo: :woohoo:

almost put him back without a measure, he went 66cm

Thats the best fight I have had on the pixy it really gave it a good workout

they are for me mate. big bass, big yellas, and Toga all in a short period. terry got his cod on a purple SB too think it was a TT
