Welcome to AFO, if the info isn’t already on here after a search start a post on the forum you will the AFO regulars are always keen to share some knowledge and advice.

That's more helpful then the 'be good to your mother' advice I was going to offer @Hweebe ........ 🙂. Yep, pays to be specific.

Geez Josh, imagine what you would have caught if you weren't rusty ........ 😜. That's an awesome morning on the water, especially for what was a VERY busy day on the water - we were at the Raby Bay dog beach and the number of boats coming back in, mostly 3 or 4 at a time, was incredible. Did you have many boats in your area?

Shame about the marlin but good to get a hookup - well done. Next time!!  Oh and not a fan of eating jewies or just prefer them smaller?

And the spangleds taste good from the Cape? Have had some awful ones from the southern GBR

Don't mind the spangles from the Cape shallows,  ice them down real good for day prior to cleaning and shallow flash fry them in bite size pieces and they seem to be ok,  if you cook them in large pieces they can be a bit chewy.
