Was shocked at the loss of water from NPD over the last week, it had gone down quite a bit in such a short time. As per my last photo you will notice you can walk along the edge quite easily now, so get out there and get into them.

Had a slow start to the morning with several casts yielding nil fish, so the mate and I kept on the move. The mate drew the first fish, a nice yella 49cm on a boney bream s/bait, I was next with a 40cm bass on a purple nightmare s/bait. We moved on a bit further and I hooked another yella on the same s/bait a 59cm beauty. After another move I got another 2 bass 35 and 38cm on same lure. I then put a jackal on and was lucky to get a healthy 53.5cm bass. Then after a final move got one more small fish and so did the mate.

So a nice morning was had by one and all

Stinger yes they are slowly getting bigger

nice fish mate, is anyone heading to np on the weekend? i want to give it a go but haven't fished fresh water since 91 when i lived in canberra

Went past Kurwongbah this morning, it looked suspiciously a lot fuller. They must be about to increase the water restrictions. They pumped from North Pine to Kurwongbah last time they did that.

Brian we have got about a dozen yellas over the last 2 weeks,it is unusual.
